Union Blues, Barbara Brackman’s latest 19th century reproduction collection, recalls the past in tintype blues and sepia browns. Each reproduction print is named for an American community of the post-Civil-War years. While the country grew with renewed pride in the Union, mills developed new cotton printing techniques. Highlights from Union Blues include a rich ombre print in several shades, shirtings for contrast and dress florals in blues and subdued shades, perfect for both  reproductions and more contemporary projects.
